Haryana: Fake HSSC website busted, 6 held
- Haryana Police busted a gang running a fake HSSC website, arresting six people, including the mastermind from Gorakhpur.
- The fraudulent site mimicked the official HSSC portal and targeted candidates registering for the CET 2025 exam.
- The gang collected registration fees via QR codes, duping 77 candidates out of around ₹22,530.
- The scam was exposed after HSSC officials filed a complaint; police swiftly took down the fake site and deactivated payment links.
